June Rose de Lama's Obituary
June Rose de Lama passed away peacefully in Tampa on January 31 after a heroic battle against an onset of health setbacks over the last two months of her life. The cause of death was a cerebral hemorrhage. She was 85.
Born and raised in Chicago, the daughter of immigrants from Sicily and Naples, Mrs. de Lama had lived in Tampa for more than 30 years with her devoted husband, Alberto de Lama.
All who knew her cherished her innate warmth, her fun-loving sense of humor, her dedication to her family and her formidable culinary skills, handed down from her Italian heritage.
Mrs. de Lama is survived by her husband. Services will be private.
