Mr. Julian Garcia Sr.'s Obituary
Julian Garcia, Sr. who was born January 19, 1925, died March 2, 2010 He was born and raised in Tampa to Teodoro and Maria Garcia of Asturia, Spain. Preceded by his brothers Emilio and Jose Garcia, sister Carmen Fernandez and nephew Danny Fernandez. He leaves behind his wife of 61 years Lydia, son Julian, daughter and son-in-law Cynthia and Randy Coen, grandson Max Coen, granddaughter Francesca Adair and numerous nieces and nephews. He took great pride in having served with the United State Navy as a young man. He worked 30 years for Holsum/Wonder Bakeries as a sales manager. He will be remembered for his unfailing optimism, kind heart and beautiful smile. Pall Bearers: Julian Garcia, Jr.; Randy Coen; Max Coen; Emilio Fernandez; Jack Streuber; and Given Garcia. Honorary Pall Bearers: David Fernandez; Bobby Garcia; Johnny Matus; and Gilbert Garcia. The family would like to thank Dr. Palumbo, Dr. Dolgin, Dr. Sinkovics and Dr. Hushimi for their care and kindness over the years, also the nursing staff of 4 North at St. Joseph Hospital. A private family graveside service will be held Saturday March 6, 2010 at 2:00 pm, at the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
