Josephine Licata's Obituary
LICATA, Josephine Spoto, 94, of Tampa passed away April 18, 2013. She was predeceased by her loving and beloved husband, Joseph of 62 years. Josephine is survived by a very devoted and greatly loving family, sons, Peter J. Licata and wife Marie, Stephen J. Licata and wife Mildred "Millie", four loving and beautiful grandchildren, Melissa and husband Steven Scolaro, Stephanie and husband Edward Walker, Valerie and husband Ryan Cuason and Stephen J. Licata, Jr., eight great grandchildren, Trent Hauser Scolaro, Chase Scolaro, Aubrey Walker, Saige Walker, Nicholas Walker, Rylie Cuason, Wesley Cuason and Madelyn Cuason, sister, Constance Flaherty and many nieces, nephews and loving friends and family. Josephine was a graduate of Hillsborough High School and a graduate of the Chicago Conservatory of Music and a retired piano teacher. She received a degree in bookkeeping from Tampa Business University. She was a past member of the Friday Morning Musicale and a long standing member of the Italian Club. Josephine was a parishioner of Christ the King Catholic Church. She was a very loving and devoted mother and grandmother who loved and worshipped her family dearly. Active pallbearers include: Stephen J. Licata, Jr., Michael Flaherty, Robert Flaherty, Jr., Bryan Zapf, Edward Walker, Steven Scolaro and Ryan Cuason. Honorary pallbearers include: Herman Lazzara, Sam Lazzara and Lee Rubin. A Funeral Mass for the Repose of her soul will be celebrated at 9:30 AM on Monday, April 22, 2013 at Christ the King Catholic Church and the family will receive friends one hour prior to Mass at the church. Entombment will follow in Garden of Memories Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Christ the King Catholic Church or LifePath Hospice Gold Team.
