Our deepest sympathies to Josie's family. Josie "Jay", was a dear friend of our mother, Helen, since childhood. She and Jay, along with their many friends, enjoyed socializing, getting together for luncheons and reminiscing about years past. She considered Jay not just a friend, but as family. We know they are now busy catching up once again.

I worked for many years at the Sheriff's Office which is where I met Josie. She was a vibrant and fun lady who gathered friends to her with ease. She had a knack for remembering the names of family and what was happening in our lives.
Being around Josie was always fun and interesting. I can't help but feel that she is bringing that same joy of life to the souls in heaven.

She was a good sport. Easy going and easy to pick on. We always talked about going out and find a boyfriend. We never did, it was just pure talk. I dearly loved her. She is in Heaven bugging the angels. RIP
