Josephine Cavaleri's Obituary
Cavaleri, Josephine, 91, of Tampa, passed away peacefully on Wednesday Jul y 29, 2015, the 70th anniversary of her marriage to the love of her life, James Cavaleri. She was born January 15, 1924 in Ybor City and graduated from Hillsborough High School in 1942. She joined the La Nuova Sicilia Unita Lodge in 1974 and served as a state delegate for many years. She was an avid participant of the Friday night socials and developed many life-long dear friends with her fellow lodge members. She was a homemaker, had a passion for her family and life and was a faithful Florida Gator fan. She is predeceased by her husband, James. She is survived by her daughter Charleen Corbett (Rick), son Tom Cavaleri (Yong), grandchildren, Ryan Corbett (Arianne), Justin Corbett, Jeff Bailey (Angela); great grandchildren, Adeline, Leila, James, Christopher, Michael and Jeffrey. Family will receive friends Sunday, August 2 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Boza Roel Funeral Home, 4730 N. Armenia Avenue, Tampa. Funeral mass will take place on Monday, August 3 at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church, 821 S. Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa followed by entombment at Myrtle Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
