Jose Juan Perez Sr's Obituary
Jose Juan (Joe/Chieto) Perez Sr. 08/29/1936-03/05/2021. He was born and raised in Cayey PR. In a Baptist home of a preacher Jose (Don Tito) Perez and mother Venera Perez. He joined the service at the age of 17. Married his wife of 44 years in Louisiana in 1956 and built his family. Moving to Tampa in the 60’s he established and ran a successful business, Perez Roofing, for over 40 years. He married his current wife of 14 years, Luz Perez, in 2007. He is preceded in death by his father Jose Perez, mother Venera Perez Cruz, first wife Bonnie Sue Perez, Sons Jose Juan (Tito) Perez Jr., Ernesto Perez, brothers Ernesto, Elliot, Samuel, David and sister Sarah. He is survived by his wife Luz Perez, sisters Raquel, Esther, and Carmen. Daughters Sherry Blau (Jeffrey), Quisella Perez, and Daughter-in-law Sherrie Perez. Grandchildren Michelle Agne, Angela Perez-Chanthavong (Dar), Alicia Huynh (Thanh), Jose (Joey) Perez, Mylissa Perez, Giselle Tinsley, Gabrielle Tinsley, and 7 Great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and Joe, Willie, and John. He is remembered by many as the patriarch showing us all what love for family, providing, hard work, and determination will deliver in life.
Jose and his family's wishes are for a private service and no flowers.
