RAFOLS, Jose F. “Pepe”, 84, of Tampa, passed away April 7, 2017. In search of political freedom he left his life in Guantanamo, Cuba to make a better future for his family. He was preceded in death by his son- in-law Manuel Machin. Pepe is survived by Ana, his beloved wife of 60 years, children Carina Machin and Jose Jr (Zoe); grandchildren, Janelle and Marcus Machin, Kelsey and Madison Rafols; siblings Maria (Ken) and Juan (Felita); extended family and friends. Family will receive friends Wednesday, April 12, 2017, for an hour prior to the funeral mass being celebrated at 12 noon at St Lawrence Catholic Church, 5225 N. Himes Ave, Tampa 33614.
