My condolences to the family. He treated my Grandpa Marcelino Calderon for Heart Failure and was there for the insertion of his pacemaker. My family never forgot of the care he gave my grandpa I gave him a hug on his last day of work. he announced his retirement.
I am so sorry to hear of Dr Dominguez death. Our heartfelt condolonces to Edith and the rest of the family. He will be missed.
A cardiologist, second to none, who provided extraordinary care to his patients and was an asset to the entire Tampa Bay area. We will always remember him lovingly for having been a loyal friend to many generations of our family.

I was a young medical student and spending the summer at Tampa General Hospital in the cardiology department observing; and was exposed to some of the greatest clinical cardiologists of that time.
Jose Dominguez was the brightest and took me under his wings ---and learn I did from one of the best.
But the real lessons were in the intangibles which are not found in all in our profession or lives. They are qualities like humility, compassion, empathy, courage, and willingness to share knowledge and wisdom. Jose Dominquez had them all and shared generously. We became friends and several years later colleagues. He was very important in the development of my career and I have been forever grateful.
My deepest sympathy to the family! We have lost a great man but we must remember the joy he brought to our lives.

Jose had a colorful personality and a wardrobe to match. We would always get a kick out of seeing him show up at Sant Yago Krewe events in one of his many bright tuxedoes!
