I am so sorry for your loss...I just recently heard about it and words cannot describe how sad I am. We spent many, many years( mid 1990's forward) enjoying Jose's music when he was with High Tide and years beyond that. He always made us laugh and was a great guy. I will always remember my friend Joe. He was a hard working man. Great percussionist, great father, son and friend. Always ready to give a hand to anyone, big heart, funny. I remember the many times that we performed together in the band and how he enjoyed playing music. He was born a natural for music. I will miss you Joe. Janis and family, Jeff & I are so very sorry to hear that Jose's battle is over. We know his loss leaves a huge hole in your heart and void in your life. Take comfort in knowing that he made a lot of people happy in his short lifetime with his many talents.
