Jose Carmenaty's Obituary
The world became a less bright place on October 9, 2025 with the death of Jose Fernando Carmenaty, age 90, of West Tampa Florida.
Jose was born December 8, 1934 (*March 19, 1935) in Santiago De Cuba to Maria Nieves Sarro & Jose Carmenaty. He graduated college with a degree in accounting, then later received his credentials in electrical engineering.
Jose enjoyed spending time with friends and family, hosting family dinners, playing cards and dominos. His kindness and generosity and love for his family will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
Jose is survived by his wife Clara and his children, Idalis, Fernando and Carmen; grandchildren Fernando Jr, Samuel, Milly, Alexis, Michael, Alexander, Christopher, Dalisi, Katie and Kevin. Jose was preceded in death by his daughter, Clara Malone.
Visitation: Friday, October 17, 2025 at 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Boza & Roel Funeral Home, 4730 North Armenia Avenue, Tampa FL 33603
The funeral will be Saturday, October 18, at 10:00am, Mass at St Joseph Catholic Church, 3012 W Cherry St, Tampa FL 33607.
A graveside service will be Saturday, October 18, at 12:00pm, Garden of Memories, 4207 E Lake Ave, Tampa FL 33610 immediately following the Mass.
