Jonathon Kristofer Lopez's Obituary
Jonathon Kristofer Lopez, 25, of Tampa, FL, passed away on March 27, 2026.
Born April 10, 2000, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, FL, to Lina Lopez and Rudi Lopez.
Joni was a man of few words, but those lucky enough to know him will never forget his charming and unique personality.
He’ll be remembered for his witty remarks, and sarcasm. Joni was too smart for his own good, and always the most competitive person in the room. If you knew Joni, he was always ready for a debate with anyone on the spot with facts to back it up. He found joy in the simple things whether that was time on the basketball court, long nights of gaming or a night at the casino. As Joni would say, “put it ALL on black”.
Joni loved his family deeply and always showed up when it mattered most. He was undeniably a mommas boy and his daddy’s twin. He shared a special bond with his favorite sisters, gang for life. His smile was a rare sight, but he had a soft spot for his niece and nephew. Those were his babies.
He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as a Senior Airman.
He is survived by his parents, Lina Lopez and Rudi Lopez; his step-parents, Jonathan Seth Kerr and Bianca Lopez; his sisters, Alexandra and Julianna Lopez; his niece and nephew, Violet and Mateo; his grandparents, Trinidad Zuluaga, Diego Jaramillo, and Rudi Lopez Sr, his aunts, uncles, and a wide circle of family and friends who loved him dearly.
Joni was taken from us far too early, with so much life still ahead of him. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
A memorial service will be held on April 10, 2026, at
Boza & Roel Funeral Home 5:00pm.
Military Honor at 5:30pm.
