Mr. John J. Wathey's Obituary
WATHEY, John J., 80, of Tampa, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2008. He is survived by his loving wife, Ramona S. Wathey; 2 sons, John W. Wathey and wife Elena, Joseph S. Wathey and wife Tanya; 3 daughters, Deborah A. McCoy and husband Rick, Anne-Marie Lopez and husband Dennis, Nancy L. Guerra and husband Peter; 3 step sons, Joseph Camunas and wife Connie, Michael Camunas and wife Patty, Eddie Camunas and wife Cindy; step daughter Tiki Camunas; 28 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Marie Moring and husband Fred of Spring Hill, Fla.. Mr. Wathey was a Veteran of WWII, who proudly served in both the Army and Navy. Retired following 37 years with US Postal Service, Seminole Branch - Tampa. Member of NALC Union 599. Born in New York and moved to Tampa in 1955. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to all of the individuals who helped care for John over the last couple of years. The family will receive friends for visitation Monday, July 21, 2008 between 6 and 8 PM at Boza & Roel Funeral Home, 4730 North Armenia Avenue, Tampa. Services will be Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at 10 AM at the funeral home followed by Interment at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
