I'll never forget my "boyfriend". John was my chemistry partner @ Plant High & we've been close friends ever since even though many miles separated us. Visits home to Tampa were always brighter because of him & I'll miss him terribly.
i know that i and my class mates will miss him so much! He would make us laugh and he always made math fun we all loved you Mr.Leto! WE WILL MISS YOU!!

I was so sad to her about John's passing. I have been praying for him and had hoped he would gain his strength over the summer break. His determination to finish the school year was a courageous one and we will miss him next year, as will his students. My prayers go out to all his family and you will all be in my thoughts Friday, as I am not in Florida and unfortunately will not be able to attend his funeral. God bless all of you. Angela Ossorio
