Mr. John Collura's Obituary
COLLURA, John, 82, of Tampa went to be with the Lord on June 26, 2008, his 59th wedding anniversary. Mr. Collura retired from Tampa Wholesale Liquor after 38 years and then served the Publix Supermarket community for 16 years before his retirement from Publix. He is preceded in death by his parents: Giuseppe and Rosaria Collura; brothers: Frank and Steve Collura; sisters: Rose Buggica and Josephine Rodriguez. Survivors include his wife: Josephine Collura; sons: John M. Collura and wife Joy, Anthony J. Collura and life partner: Richard Brady; daughter: Roseann M. Giovenco and life partner: Stephanie Salerno; 6 grandchildren: Carl V. Giovenco and wife Aleja, Christina M. Giovenco, Thomas Collura, Christina Figueroa, Joseph A. and Timothy J. Collura and a great grandson on the way. A Funeral Mass for the repose of his soul will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Monday, June 30, 2008 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church with Msgr. Laurence Higgins, Celebrant. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6 to 8 PM with recitation of the Catholic Wake Rite at 7 PM at Boza & Roel Funeral Home, 4730 N. Armenia Ave.,Tampa, FL.
