Devastated to hear of JP's passing. Joel had the patience to teach me how to work the overnight desk in Ops. So in 1999-2000 I covered the weekend overnight shift. Not only was he a great mentor, but Joel was great person. RON aircraft at Airside E will never be the same. Rest in peace my friend...may you forever rest in peace!

I saw Joel at work the evening before his passing as I was punching out and leaving for the night. He was standing in front of the tv in the breakroom, remote in hand, trying to find his Fox News channel. I chuckled because he wasn't too happy with the new layout of the program guide on our new Dish satellite that was just installed. He chuckled also, and then told me "Have a good night Terry! See you tomorrow!" We will miss him dearly at Delta.....Rest in Joel.
