Mrs. Jennie C. Locicero's Obituary
LOCICERO, Jennie, C., 80, native of Tampa, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2007. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years Baldassare (Sam) Locicero, daughter Jeanie Locicero, niece Jennie Benau and family, cousin Pino Pupello and family, and cousins in Italy and Australia. Jennie attended St. Joseph Elementary School and graduated from OLPH High School in 1944. She received her B.S. in music and elementary education from the University of Tampa. She taught 13 years at W.B. Henderson, 2 years at Robert E. Lee, taught private piano lessons, played the violin for the Tampa Symphony Orchestra, and was an organist at St. Joseph Catholic Church for 35 years. The family will receive friends for Visitation Sunday, December 30, 2007 between 2 and 4 PM at Boza & Roel Funeral Home, 4730 North Armenia Avenue, Tampa. Mass for the repose of her soul will be 2 PM Monday, December 31, 2007 at St. Joseph Catholic Church followed by Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery. The family would like to give special thanks to Father Felix Sanchez and the Eucharistic Ministers from St. Joseph Church in Tampa and Holy Family Church in St. Petersburg for their frequent visits, to dedicated caregivers Dolly and Juan Rojas and the administration and staff of Carrington Place for their special care and attention. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph Church Organ Fund 3012 Cherry Street Tampa, FL 33607.
