James V. Bearden's Obituary
James "Jim" Bearden age 67, of Tampa, FL, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2026. He was born February 4, 1959, to Margarita Romo and James Ralph Bearden. He was a beloved father to three and a cherished grandfather to six, leaving behind a legacy of love and joy.
He is survived by his loving wife Maria, married for 44 years who loved him deeply-they were always together; his loving children and their spouses, Cristina Middaugh (Drew), James C. Bearden (Jennifer), and Anthony J. Bearden (Alaina). He was a proud grandfather to Sophia and Joseph Middaugh, Madeline Bearden, Annamaria, Adelina, and Alessandra Bearden; sister-in-law Pina Romanello. Also, survived by his mother, Margarita and stepfather, Bruce Edwards; Four brothers, David, Bruce, Jonathan, Jeremy and sister Evelyn.
James thrived in the simple pleasures of life, especially in moments spent with his grandchildren. Whether at the park or engaging in playful activities, he never missed an opportunity to create cherished memories with them. His passion for fishing, growing vegetables, and traveling brought him great joy, and he embraced each adventure with enthusiasm. He enjoyed attending his grand-daughter's sports events and grandson's baseball games. He was the inspiration that guided Joseph into playing baseball. He was always surrounded by his grandchildren and deeply loved them.
James will be remembered for his kindness, laughter, and the love he extended to all who knew him. His spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Rest in peace, dear James. Your love will forever be a guiding light in our lives.
