Jim was truly an exceptional man with a heart of gold, and we have so many memories of him that we will always cherish. Jim was one of my grandfather, Bill "Wild Bill" Brayton's most trusted and loyal friends, since the formation of the Tampa Trident Club in the early 1950's. We're sure that those two helped each other immensely during some of the hardest trials in their lives. It was such a pleasure to see him and Annette one last time back in late September, and it was always so fun to hear him reminisce about so many of our lost Trident Club loved ones. We along with everyone else that was privileged to know him will miss him dearly, but we're comforted by the thought that he received such a warm welcome to heaven from everyone that went before him.
We extend our prayers and deepest sympathies to the entire Baxendale family on their very sad loss.

My friend my buddy so many adventures .To many to list . I love you like a brother. Rest in peace my friend.
Annette and family; I am so sorry for your loss. Jim was a good husband and father and grandfather and just a good guy. Always willing to help his family or a friend. He many times came my need if to just fix an electrical problem in my office, or to just give me words I needed to hear, but he was always kind. He is forever in your memories and mine and you have him always as your angel still watching over each of you. Gone in body but forever in spirit. God Bless.

Cousin Laura and Lesley--Your father was one of the best Uncles I could ever have had. He was there for me when I needed it most. The best sport fisherman in the county, also! Loved being at the dinner table when he brought his catch home. Aunt Reed is is showing him the ropes in heaven. My heart is heavy. I love you both and wish you peace and happy memories.
I remember when I was a lineman Jim would come by the house and I would ride with him when he was shooting trouble. He taught me a lot.
