It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ismael Rodriguez on October 10, 2025. Ismael was a beloved son, father, brother, uncle, and friend whose courage, humor, and love for life touched everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his loving mother, his devoted sons Ishmael Jr. and Jayel, and his cherished siblings Evelyn, Micheal, Anibal, and Hector.
Ismael faced every challenge in life with strength and grace. A man of many passions, Ismael had a deep love for music and musicals—the melodies and stories that spoke to the heart were a constant source of joy for him. Whether he was singing along to a favorite tune, dancing or introducing someone to his favorite Broadway classical, his enthusiasm was infectious. He also had a big love for good food, always appreciating the comfort and connection that came from sharing a meal with family and friends.
And of course, Ismael was a true New York Mets fan through and through. No matter the season’s outcome, he stayed loyal, hopeful, and proud—proof of his unwavering spirit and optimism.
To his family, Ismael was more than a son, father, and brother—he was a confidant, a protector, and a source of laughter. His spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
Rest peacefully, Ismael. You will be forever missed, always remembered, and eternally loved.
