Hugo Alfredo Vasquez's Obituary
Hugo Alfredo Vasquez, 83 passed away on December 31, 2016. Hugo was born August 3, 1933 in Bogota, Colombia to Jose Ignacio Vasquez and Francisca Garcia. After moving to Tampa Bay from New York in 1978, Hugo owned a delivery company as well as an air conditioning and appliance repair company allowing him to make many friends in the area. He is survived by his wife, Bertha Nunez-Vasquez, married on October 20, 1962. He is also survived by his son, Alvaro Mauricio (Kim); daughter Helen; son, Hugo “Fernando” (Jamé); and eight grandchildren: Vanessa (José Santiago); Anthony (Marleny Camba); Nicholas; Savannah (Joseph Cuozzo); Alyssa; and one great grandchild, Hailey. Other survivors include four siblings. Hugo will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A Celebration of Life Mass will be held on Friday, January 6, 2017 at Incarnation Catholic Church, 5111 Webb Road, Tampa, FL 33615 at 10:00 am.
