Herman Carl Meister of Tampa, Florida, passed away on January 28, 2019 at the age of 72. Herman is survived by his beautiful, devoted wife of fifty years, Joyce Knill Meister; his son-in-law and daughter, Charlie and Heather Snif Read Obituary
Mr. Meister has always held a special place in my heart. I will treasure the memories that were made at Citrus Park. He always knew how to make me laugh, and he always had just the right encouraging words when I needed them most. He was more than just a boss. He was like a father to me. ❤️
Words will never express how sorry we are to hear about the passing of Herman. We will keep the Meister family in our prayers during this difficult time. We will always remember him as a loving father.
I met the Meisters at Community Christian School in the 70's. Mr. Meister was my favorite teacher; he connected with students with his down to earth, jovial manner but was serious about his job. He was very open and approachable. I hadn't seen him in many years, but last April he came to my Mom's memorial service in Palm Harbor. I have no idea how he found out about it; It meant more than I can say. I wish I could have spent more time talking with him, remembering the old days. He was a gem! I'm saddened to hear of his passing. To Mrs. Meister and family, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
