Saladino, Helen Y.'s Obituary
Helen Yanez Saladino, 95, went to be with our Lord on June 20, 2026. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 65 years, Anthony “Tony” Saladino, Jr., and her parents, Eduardo and Ophelia Yanez.
Helen was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa, graduate of Hillsborough High School, and retired from Bank of America. She was devout in her faith and served as a Eucharistic minister at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. She always enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and volunteered together with her husband at Wellswood Little League and Northwest Tampa Optimists for many years. She is survived by her children, Cindy Saladino, Tammy Adwell (Wesley), and Gary Saladino (Carmen); grandchildren, Nathan Saladino (Noelle), Nadie Rae Saladino Morse (Benjamin), and Shane Adwell (Reagan), along with many extended family and friends.
Visitation will take place on July 13, 2026, 10:00 - 10:45 am, and Funeral Mass at 11:00 am, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 5225 N. Himes Av., Tampa, FL 33614. Following the service, Helen will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery, 3412 N. Ola Ave., Tampa, FL 33603.
