Harry was my great uncle and I will always have fond memories of him. He loved children and always had a smile for you. I fondly remember how he used to have chewing gum stored under his car seat, ready to hand it out. He served his country well. He loved his family and showed this love throughout his life. I will greatly miss him.
I am sorry to learn about the death of Mr. Harry Randolph Owens, Sr.. This must have been a difficult time for all. Therefore, I will forward you scripture that will comfort you. Psalms 90:10 says that the usual human life span is 70 or 80 years. This was true when Moses wrote it but not so from the beginning. (compare Genesis 5:3-32.) Hebrews 9:27 says...It is reserved for men to die once for all time. This, too, was true when it was written but not the case before God passed judgment on sinful Adam.

I was fortunate enough to marry Harry Owens's daughter, Deanna. 20 years with the Owens family, wonderful! May God bless you, Harry. You will be missed.
Growing up in Freeman, WV, Harry was my boyhood idol.
