Debbie, Vivian, and the entire family: The memories I have of growing up on Carmen Street and spending all our waking hours playing baseball, cork ball and whatever else we could play is priceless. Harold was right there in all our games and he was as gracious then as he was his entire life We were truly blessed to have the parents we did and have the opportunities they afforded us. Our parents were great friends and neighbors. Harold will always be remembered by my sister, Diane, and me. I regret my wife and I will be out of town during the memorial service. Dearest Friends,

This is one of the few times in life when I cannot find the words to express the sadness Bert and I are feeling with the loss of dear friend, Harold Lopez. We have shared a lifetime of happy and sad times throughout the 50 years we have known each other.

Harold's excitement when he became a dad was amazing. Watching those two little girls melt his heart was something to see. But watching the twinkle in the autumn of his life when he spoke about being an abuelo x 4 made the grumpy bear with a wicked sense of humor and big heart look like a little lamb.

It is rare to see those that marry so young take their vows as seriously as Debbie and Harold did. God determines when it is time for each of us to leave this world. While we will miss Harold, our fond memories will keep him in our hearts as he rests in eternal peace.

We are praying that God give strength and comfort to Debbie, Jennifer and Courtney and the extended Lopez family through this difficult time.

I am so sadden to hear about Harold he was an amazing person. I feel blessed to have known him, always a smile on his face and willing to do for others. He gave lots of love to everyone. such a role model for youth.
