Gloria Nieves Roy's Obituary
Gloria Nieves Roy passed away on July 14, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents, Maria Purification Blanco and Benjamin Blanco, and her sister Melba Blanco Pullara. She is survived by her husband of 74 years, Manuel Roy, her daughter, Nancy Roy, her son, Louis Roy (Lisa), her grandson, Christopher Roy (Emily), and her great grandchildren, Gloria “Billie” and Francis “Franny” Roy.
The Family will receive visitors from 10:00am to 11:00am at Boza and Roel Funeral Home at 4730 Armenia Ave, Tampa 33603, on Wednesday, July 21st. She will be laid to rest at the Centro Asturiano Memorial Park cemetery at 5400 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. following the visitation.
Gloria loved to volunteer and was a member of the Centro Asturiano de Tampa and the Las Damas de Centro Asturiano. She also volunteered at the Ybor City Museum. Gloria’s family would like to thank the dedicated staff of Lifepath Hospice for their kindness and care.
