Glenda Holt DiCorte's Obituary
Age 75, originally from Bainbridge, Georgia, passed away suddenly at her home on December 26, 2024.
A longtime resident of Tampa, Florida, Glenda attended Hillsborough High School and worked for many years as a dedicated bookkeeper. Glenda was a loving wife to her husband, Samuel H. DiCorte, Sr.; a devoted mother to Joseph S. DiCorte, Dr. Dana Prieto (Alexander G. Prieto), and Dr. Samuel H. DiCorte, Jr.; and a nurturing grandmother to Samantha Claire DiCorte, Alexander G. Prieto II, Sebastian C. Prieto, and Samuel H. DiCorte III. She was also a dear sister to Diane Johnston and a cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Glenda had a deep love for music, dancing, and spending time with her family, whom she held close to her heart and took immense pride in. She was a mother figure to many beyond her own children, touching countless lives with her kindness and warmth. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 1:00 PM at St. Lawrence Catholic Church with burial to follow at 3:00 PM at Trinity Memorial Gardens.
