Gail Lee Marie Martinez, age 69, passed away on May 7, 2026, in Tampa, Florida. She was born on October 15, 1956, in Tampa, where she spent her life surrounded by family and friends.
Gail was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt who deeply valued family and treasured time spent with her loved ones. She was known for bringing family together and caring deeply for the well-being of those around her.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Edwin Martinez-Sosa; her son, Edwin Anthony Martinez; daughter-in-law, Laudy; grandchildren, Ellie, Alicia, and Anthony; sister, Vivian Fernandez; brothers, Frank Fernandez and Fidelio Fernandez; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fidelio Fernandez and Alice Fernandez Rocamora.
