Franklin L Foster's Obituary
Minister Franklin L. Foster, age 77, entered his heavenly home on July 10, 2020 in Tampa, Florida at Advent Health – Fletcher Hospital. He was born on November 1, 1942 in Matthews, Virginia to the late Simon Phillip Foster and Rose Etta Ware – Foster, he was one the youngest of twelve children. He is survived by the love of his life Sonia Foster of whom he was married to for thirty-three and a half years. He and his wife shared countless and priceless memories until his dying day. Franklin enjoyed fishing, hunting, baking and cooking but most of all he loved family gatherings. In 1969, he became part of the union workers for the Town of Greenwich Connecticut, as a Machine Operator. Minister Franklin, was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Barbara McCoggil, sisters Polly Foster – Torres, Mary Ruff, Linda M. Mitchell, Sarah McShaw and brothers Robert Lee Foster and James Foster.
Minister Franklin Foster leaves to cherish his memory two children Vashon R. Foster & (Alaina) of Bridgeport, CT; Franklin Phillip Foster Jr. of Bridgeport, CT. Seven stepchildren, George Morales of New York, NY; Diana Morales (Abel) of Kissimmee, FL; Deborah Morales of Pasadena, CA, Valarie Campbell (Rashè) of Greenwich, CT, Daniel Morales of Greenwich, CT; Samuel Morales of Bridgeport, CT and Roberto Colon Jr. (Miriam) of Houston, TX as well as a host of grandchildren & great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister and brothers Phillip Foster of Greenwich, CT; John Foster (Pearl) of Matthews, VA; William Foster (Monica) of Cardinal, VA and Annie Monteiro (Edward) of Portchester, NY. Franklin also leaves behind a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
