Frank P Susca's Obituary
Frank Patrick Susca, age 93, of Tampa, Florida entered into heaven and was greeted by his wife, Ann, his great-grandson, Beau, his brothers Larry, Dominick, and Tony, his parents Paul and Anna Maria, and our Lord, Jesus on September 28, 2025. He was born in New York City, New York on October 28, 1931, to Vito Paul Susca and Anna Maria Latarulo.
Frank grew up with a strong sense of faith, family, and hard work. He served in churches as an altar boy, lecturer and member of the choir. Frank served in the Army during the Korean War for 2 years and returned home to complete his accounting degree. He married Ann Marie Ciaccio on August 27, 1955, and brought his family to Florida in 1962. Frank was a founding member of Saint Lawrence Catholic Church, President of the Parent's Club and Dad's Club at Saint Lawrence Catholic School, and a member of the Lions Club, Knights of Columbus, Jaycees, Sons of Italy, and The Italian Club of Tampa. He worked in the City of Tampa Accounting Department and as the General Manager of Palma Ceia Golf and Country Club. A self-taught entrepreneur, he started AAA Printing and Office Supplies company. Frank enjoyed golfing, racquetball, bowling, playing cards, doing puzzles, reading, sudoku, singing, playing the piano, entertaining the family with magic tricks, and spending time with all of us.
Frank's legacy lives on through his four daughters and their spouses, Francine Susca, AnnMarie Hanecki (Darrell), Linda Stanaland, and Michelle House (Kevin); His grandchildren Michael Wamsley (Courtney), Jessie Croasdale (Chris), Kelly Hanecki, Brett Stanaland, Amy Shafer, Kade Bandit (Brooke), Kyle Stanaland (Cynthia), Kyle Hanecki, Frankie Wamsley (Rachel), Tiffany Stanaland, Brendon Wamsley (Juliana), Cassie Glanz (Zach) and Jeffrey House; His Great Grandchildren Madeline, Michael, Benning, Brooks, Daniel, Beckett, and Emerie.
A service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Saint Lawrence Catholic Church with visitation from 10:00am 12:00pm, Mass from 12:00pm-1:30pm. Burial will follow at L'Unione Italiana Cemetery. A reception to follow cemetery services from 3pm - 6pm at Tampa Woman's Club, 2901 Bayshore Blvd, Tampa, Florida. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to L'Unione Italiana Cemetery in Frank's name.
Though our hearts are heavy, we rejoice in knowing that Frank is now at rest with the Lord, and we hold onto the promise of being reunited with him again one day.
