Frank Edward Rodriguez III's Obituary
The angels’ voice guides our choice.
From the end lies the beginning, in His rejoice.
The eye can only see what the mind knows.
In the darkness of the world, the heart is what glows.
Smile as bright as the rising sun; when facing the end, where is there left to run?
Cold is the winter wind; the hand of God creates the path.
Only His warriors will win.
Other than choose, we have chosen.
If you allow it, the darkness will hold you frozen.
Just a clue on where in time I will be.
I will plan, hoping to see this product of a man time has created me to be.
I know that perfect, I will never be.
Actions within myself are where I must start.
I never lose my faith, even when it threatens to fade.
So I know that by my side, God, You will be, until my last breath reaches the grave.
This poem was written by Frank Edward Rodriguez III Himself.
Frank "Nino," aka "Papo the Don" or "Darkside" was born and raised in Tampa, FL. Tampa had his heart, and he loved his city! He was the son of Francisco Rodriguez and Theresa Diaz. Nino tried his best to manifest the love he had for those he considered family on a daily basis. He would give his last to help someone he loved even when he was struggling himself. He was a poet, rapper, artist, closet comedian, and aspired to be the biggest entrepreneur. He took so much pride in making others happy and just wanted to have a good time. Nino had a tenacious, resilient spirit and heart of gold.
Please remember him by his infectious, beautiful smile and laugh. Remember the love he so easily gave out and the unmatched loyalty he gave to everyone.
Nino joined his brother, Eric in Heaven. However, he will be forever remembered by his Mother (Theresa Diaz), His father (Francisco Rodriguez), Sister (Amandaleina Diaz), and brothers (Justin Rodriguez and Daniel Feliciano). Also, his Niece and nephews who adored him and anyone else he considered family, including lifelong friends.
Rest in pride with Eric, King.
We ask that if you are planning on attending the service, to please wear a white top and jeans.
