Mr. Frank Ippolito's Obituary
IPPOLITO, Frank 'Cowboy', 87, native of Ybor City, passed away April 17, 2008. Mr. Ippolito served in the Merchant Marines and was a member of the Italian Club and the Centro Asturiano Club. He was an avid dancer, winning many awards and was especially fond of ballroom dancing. He started 'La Tropicana', 'Club Italia' and 'San Souci' (also known as SMS on 8th Ave. ) restaurants. 'Cowboy' was the youngest and last surviving sibling of ten children. He is preceded in death by his wife of 51 years: Jaqueline Ippolito and son: Frank Ippolito, Jr. Survivors include his daughter: Frances Ippolito, granddaughters: Gina Ippolito and Julissa Cabrera, great granddaughter: Olivia Cabrera. Long time special friend and honorary family member, LaVerda 'Bobbi' Falkenburg. Special feline friend, 'Loverboy' and many grand nieces, nephews and friends. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at L'Unione Italiana Mausoleum. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 22, 2008 from 6 to 8 PM at Boza & Roel Funeral Home, 4730 N. Armenia Ave., Tampa, FL
