Francisco Salabarria's Obituary
In Loving Memory of Frank "Gato" Salabarria, Jr.
Frank was born in Tampa, Florida on August 11, 1936, and died November 12, 2023, at the hardy age of 87. Frank was a deeply devoted family man and self-taught master craftsman with his own business, Florida Countertops, through which he serviced the greater Tampa Bay area for several decades. He enjoyed joking with those he loved, playing cards and Cuban dominoes with his life-long club mates, fishing, and hosting and cooking for his family. A master storyteller; Frank often shared stories of his life adventures and experiences, through which he imparted great wisdom and insight.
Frank was preceded by his much- adored wife of 43 years, Dolores Salabarria.
Frank was truly the anchor of his family and will always be loved and warmly remembered by his sister Margaret and brother-in-law Robert Castillo, his children Roxanne Hemmerling, Valerie Salabarria, Deborah McDade, Frank Salabarria (Son), Linda Lee, and his numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
We all Love You Dearly and you will always be in our hearts and thoughts.
