Francisca Mercado was a fierce, loving, and unforgettable woman whose strength and devotion shaped everyone lucky enough to know her. Born in the Dominican Republic, she came to the United States in search of a better life and built one rooted in family, resilience, and love.
She was a devoted mother to her two sons, Giovanni and Kevin, and a proud, adoring grandmother to her grandson, Jackson. Francisca was strong‑willed and outspoken—she didn’t take any nonsense from anyone—but her toughness was matched by a deep heart and an unwavering loyalty to those she loved. She was surrounded by a large, close-knit family of siblings, nieces, and nephews who meant the world to her, and who loved her just as fiercely in return.
Francisca leaves behind a legacy of strength, honesty, and unconditional love that will live on through her family and all the lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
