Frances "Ola" Scolaro Pitisci's Obituary
PITISCI, Frances "Ola" Scolaro, 96, passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital on August 4, 2014. Frances was born in Tampa and raised in Ybor City. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Frank Pitisci, four sisters and one brother, son-in-law, Tom McGee and nephew Gilbert Pitisci. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Pitisci; nephew, Donald Pitisci (Kippy), and niece, Cynthia Castillo, and many cherished nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. Ola and her sister Grace were unique in that they married two brothers, Frank and Charlie, and lived next door to each other in Ybor City and later in West Tampa for most of their lives. Ola will be greatly missed, she was devoted to her family, it always came first, she was funny and never failed to give advice. Her Sunday dinners and Tuesday lunches were not to be missed. She leaves a great void in our lives. Private graveside services for family and close friends will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am at the Italian Club Cemetery, In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Metropolitan Ministries
