Mr Fermin Capote's Obituary
CAPOTE, Fermin, 89, of Tampa, founder of Al Capote's Cleaners, Inc. passed away at St. Joseph's hospital on Wednesday, July 27, 2011. He was born on March 30, 1922 in Pinar Del Rio, Cuba to Marcelino and Julia Capote. He was one of twelve children and helped on the family farm 'till he joined the Army in 1940. He married Mirta Natividad Valdes in 1952. In 1968 he packed up his family and left his homeland in search of a better life; after spending time in Miami, New York and Los Angeles, they returned to Florida and settled in Tampa Bay, where for the past 20 years, have been serving the Tampa Bay area at Al Capote's Cleaners on Kennedy Blvd. Fermin is survived by his loving wife Mirta Capote; sons, George Capote and wife Lucy, Frank Capote, David Capote and wife Vivian; 6 grandchildren, Crystal Michael, George Jr., Frank Jr., Billy and Gianni. The family will receive friends for Visitation, Sunday, July 31, 2011 between 6 and 8 PM at Boza & Roel Funeral Home, 4730 North Armenia Avenue. Services will be Monday, August 1, 2011 at 10 AM at the funeral home followed by Entombment at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
