Evelia Trelles' Obituary
TRELLES, Evelia, 102, was called home by our Lord on March 6, 2016. Born in Cardenas, Cuba, she fled the Cuban Revolution in 1961, to the United States. She took up residence in Tampa, Fla. She was preceded in death by her husband Ricardo Trelles and son Raul. Evelia was a past president of Club Quince, a devout Catholic and a longtime faithful parishioner of St Joseph Catholic Church. She had a giving heart; active in many charities, she enjoyed being a caregiver, was always wise, thoughtful, and loving to all. Evelia is survived by her daughter Maria Marzol, step daughter Esther Asteinza, step son Carlos Trelles, god daughter Adella Daumy, grandchildren; Adolfo Marzol (TommieJean), Yvette Trelles, Jorge Marzol (Edie), grandchildren; Thomas, Evelyn, Alexandra, Natasha, Marissa, and Preston, brothers Jose and Julio Galis, and extended family. An hour visitation will begin at 11 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 12 noon on Saturday, March 12, 2016. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
