Mr. Eugene Saunders Roberts' Obituary
ROBERTS, Eugene Saunders, 77, of Tampa, passed away Sunday, September 2, 2007. He was preceded in death by his sister Mary Percy Mestre. He is survived by his loving wife Nancy Q. Roberts; sons, Eugene Roberts Jr., John A. Roberts; daughters, Maria R. Engel, Yvonne C. Rivera; stepson Jose Pujals, step daughter Vivian Cardenal; grandchildren Stephen and Staci Roberts, Taylor Roberts, Alexandra and Sofia Engel, Alejandra and Javier Rivera, Chloe and Joey Pujals, Alexandra and Kelsey Cardenal; sister Estela Roberts; brother Alex Roberts; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Eugene served in the US Army stationed in Panama. He worked at Roberts Tobacco in Cuba and later was the Vice President of RCR Corporation in Sun Lake Park. He worked for the Hillsborough County Property Appraisers office until he retired. The family will receive friends for Visitation, Friday, September 7, 2007 between 7 and 9 PM at Boza & Roel Funeral Home, 4730 North Armenia Avenue, Tampa. Funeral Service will be Saturday, September 8, 2007 at 10 AM at the Funeral Home followed by burial at Centro Espanol Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Melech Hospice House 11125 North 52 Street, Temple Terrace, FL, "Green Wing."
