Ernesto Vargas Mendez "Piro", age 52, passed away at Tampa General Hospital due to cardiac arrest. He was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. Ernesto was preceded in death by his father Ernesto Vargas Colon. He is survived by his mother, Teresa Mendez Luciano, several sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and a great niece. Ernesto loved fishing and basketball. He was a fan of Los Angeles Lakers and his favorite player was James Lebron. Ernesto was a free spirit who rode life in his own terms.
