Ernest Richard Casares, 76, of Tampa, Florida, passed away at his home, the evening of January 13, 2024. Ernie was born in Tampa at Centro Asturiano Hospital on March 9, 1947. He was the youngest of three children to Faustino and Read Obituary
The David Shives Family planted a grove of 5 Memorial Trees in honor of Ernie. These trees will help restore a forest and help the environment and live on for years and years to come.
I am not sure where my first post went, but we have been in touch often and you know how much Ernie meant to all of us. He was a wonderful man, brother-in-law, and uncle and we miss him so much already. He will always be in our hearts and wonderful memories.
We love you all so much and we are here for whatever you may need.

Ernie Casares was a wonderful friend and mentor to me. We shared many road trips and traveled all of the country (and Italy) together working in business. He was one of my favorite people to talk shop, life and sports with. I will miss those times and I will miss him dearly, as I know his family will miss him that much more because he was such a great father, husband and friend. I know he is with the Lord now. Yvonne and family, prayers and peace for all the family.
