Enriqueta Paz Dosal's Obituary
Dosal, Enriqueta (Ketty) Paz
On March 12, 2021, Enriqueta, 100, left with the angels peacefully from home. She was born in Havana, Cuba, immigrated to the United States over 60 years ago, and remained in Tampa until her passing.
Enriqueta was loving, warm-hearted, and had a delightful sense of humor. Even through many struggles and challenges, she always maintained her sense of humor. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed cooking, music, and dancing; the angels will play for her as she enters heaven. She was loved and will be terribly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Oscar Dosal, her parents, and siblings. She is survived by her daughters, Evelyn Dosal, Irene Hernandez (David); grandchildren, Chantelle Groene (Brian), David K. Hernandez (Daphne); great-grandchildren, Samantha Rynn (Dan), Nicholas Groene, and Kamille Hernandez; nieces, Tania Marin, Ofelia Moreno (Miami); and sister, Elizabeth Rodriguez (New Jersey).
Thank you to all her medical providers over the years for your care, especially Dr. Norman Castellano. Thank you to all former aides, nurses, caregivers, and the burgundy team at LifePath Hospice.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Boza & Roel, 4730 N. Armenia Avenue. A service will be held on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home officiated by Deacon Greg Lambert. Visitation will be held from 2:30-3:00 p.m. prior to the service; masks requested. A dove release will be held at the end of the service. If unable to attend, live streaming will be available.
Flowers welcomed but she would love even more that a donation in her memory be made to her favorite charity, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or your favorite charity.
