May the memories and his fabulouse sense of humor (A Salgado trait!) comfort you.
He was a man of deep love and commitment to our family. He was a World War 2 veteran and war hero. As a Naval Merchant Mariner who saw combat in the Pacific at the island of Palau and provided convoy support to the Atlantic Armada's which supplied war materials to the UK. He shared many stories with me, including those involving my father Tony Salgado and his service in WW2. I will always remember Noche Buena... I will always remember him for making me a better man.
Uncle Eloy I miss you and love you.
A wonderful man, father, husband and uncle. He will be greatly missed.
So sorry & sad for you guys. From all the stories he was a strong tough guy!. They don't make them like that any more. It is sad, no words can help.
So very sad & sorry for you guys. Sounds like he was an amazing man.
