I just found out about Elon passing. I didn't know him too terribly well, but we became friends and hung out quite a bit in the last year or so. I have no idea what happened to him, and am truly mystified and saddened by his passing. Elon was as real as they come: no pretense, no false airs, and brutally honest. I respected that. I really enjoyed his oddball demeanor and self-effacing sense of humor, which never failed to make me smile. Deepest sympathies to his family and friends.

Rosie, I'm so sorry for your loss of Elon. I just ran into him at Hugo a few weeks ago.He saw me and came and gave me a hug. We had a nice talk ,he spoke highly of all of you. I'm so very sorry he's gone. Jesus has a new Angel now. Love, Ms. Vail Klein
Rosie i was so shocked and saddened when we spoke last week. The pain in your voice was heartbreaking. I can only offer prayers for you and Elon now. Elon and I were childhood friends from 3rd to 7th grade. I remember him as one of my best friends during that time. He was uproariously funny! He seemed fearless to me and we might have gotten into our fair amount of mischief. We attempted to reconnect through Facebook when he was living in San Francisco and I was living in Los Angeles. He was still so funny and brave to me. I would never be able to forget Elon. My sincerest condolences to your family in this difficult time.

I remember when I first met Elon he left his day planner at my house or in my car. The next time I saw him, which was a couple of weeks later, I said : " I have something of yours." He said: " My day planner?" I said: " I sure do." That day planner was his bible lol lol. Ever since then we were friends.
E's energy was untouchable, his love unstoppable. Upon entering a room, all knew he had arrived. His dancing impeccable. Love of life and friends his strength.
