Not many days go by that I don't think of Elizabeth and the impact she had on WFLA-TV, especially the sales department where I worked with her for several years. Some of us kiddingly said she ran the station. She was that great at her job. But, she also had a very kind heart. My condolences to her family and friends. You will be missed. Rest in peace, Liz.

Elizabeth was my manager and mentor for 10 years at Centralized Traffic with Media General. I admired her for her wisdom and knowledge. I always thought she was one of the most intelligent people I've ever known and that she would be a great contestant on Jeopardy. No matter we spoke about, she was always so knowledgeable. I knew when everyone else was gone home at 5pm, that it was "talk time with Elizabeth." We would walk in late together in the mornings but she told me, "As long as you're getting your work done and your 8 hours in, that's all that matters." Also, Elizabeth made the best rum balls that she would hand out around Christmas time. After she saw me trading my other cookies for rum balls, she started giving me my more of those in my canister.
Thanks for all you taught me about traffic and television, and thanks for the memories. May you rest in peace in the arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and may the family find comfort in His word and prayer.

I had the pleasure of working for Elizabeth for 2 years at CTO Media General. Her great knowledge of the business taught me so much in my career. She was tough but always fair. I loved her passion for animals and her dry sense of humor. My deepest sympathy goes out to all of her family and friends. She will be missed.

I first met Elizabeth in 1998 when I started work at WSLS-TV in Roanoke
Virginia.
Elizabeth was one of the most intelligent woman I have known, in work and
just about any subject you would bring up. I learned many things from Elizabeth
over the years and we both had a true love for animals.
My many great memories of Elizabeth will always stay with me.
My heart goes out to her family and friends at the loss of Elizabeth.
