Gonzalez, Elio's Obituary
Elio Gonzalez III, 74, of Tampa, Florida, passed away peacefully on the afternoon of July 12, 2025. Born August 31, 1950 to Carmen Rodriguez and Elio Gonzalez II, in Miami, along with his siblings Mary and Margaret Gonzalez. He later created a home and family in Tampa.
Elio was a proud Marine-an honor he carried throughout his life, reflecting his strong sense of duty and respect for service.
On October 5, 1973, Elio married Linda Joyce Lopez. Their partnership spanned 47 cherished years until Linda's passing in 2020. Together, they raised two children: James Anthony Gonzalez and Amanda Linda Gonzalez.
Elio & Linda's hearts swelled with pride for their four granddaughters: Nathalie Vasquez, Sophia Gonzalez, Leilani Rivera, and Sahara Gonzalez. They treasured every moment with them, passing down family stories, laughter, and life lessons.
He is survived by his children and his beloved granddaughters.
A private family services will be held at Boza & Roel Funeral Home, located at 4730 North Armenia Avenue, Tampa, FL 33603, on July 21st 2025, from 10 AM to 12 PM, honoring his life.
