Eleonor Salazar Morejon's Obituary
Eleonor Salazar Morejon beloved wife of the late Orlando Morejon. She is survived by her daughter Alsira M. Madison and her husband William Madison. She was an adored grandmother by her three grandsons, Bobby Gambino and his wife Lauren, John Evans III and his wife Kristi and Raymond Evans and his wife Felicia. A cherished great grandmother to her nine great grandchildren: John, Jordan, Danielle, Rachel, Haley, Marissa, Alexis, Samantha, and Madison. She is also survived by her sister Regla “Rayla” Salazar.
Eleonor had a vibrant life. She was born in Key West, FL and moved to Tampa at an early age with her parents and siblings. She was a woman of many talents. She worked in the cigar factory in Ybor City. She was an exquisite seamstress at Tropical Garment. She owned different businesses with her late husband Orlando Morejon from a catering business to a restaurant and Cantina in Drew Park – The Tropical Ranch.
Eleonor had a passion for life, music, and fashion. She loved to go dancing and was always dressed to the hilt.
Not a day went by that Eleonor wasn’t ready to take on the world.
She will be deeply missed by not only her daughter, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and sister but also by anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Visitation Services will be held on Thursday August 5th at Boza and Roel Funeral home at 4730 N Armenia Ave – Tampa FL – 33603 from 6pm to 8pm.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday August 6th at Boza & Roel Funeral Home at 11 am with a graveside service following at the Garden of Memories Cemetery at 4207 E Lake Ave – Tampa FL - 33610
