Edward O Bineau's Obituary
Edward Omer Bineau, born in New York, NY on August 3rd, 1927, was called home to the Lord on 3/13/17 in Sun City Center, Florida.
Ed married the love of his life, Francoise Provost on 9/8/1949, and fathered 5 children. He served our country during WWII in the naval forces. More than that, this man lived to serve his family.
He was president of the Sheet Metal Workers Union for many years and most enjoyed his time at Roth Brothers in Tampa, Florida.
He was an entrepreneur. Ed owned and managed many rental properties and dedicated his spare time to ensure that his tenants were safe. Many times he provided gratis shelter to families in need.
He provided private education for his children and always encouraged them to achieve their dreams.
Ed had high standards and expectations of himself; he enjoyed creating with his hands. He had the ability and skill to imagine, draft and build anything. He frequently developed his own tools and mechanisms. He acquired the nickname "Eagle Eye" because he ensured everything was “plumb, level, and square”. His innovative mind kept him motivated and driven.
He enjoyed bowling with friends. He loved fishing with family, and spent many summers camping with his kids.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Francoise, of 67 years, his daughter, Rita Dellorto, and his brother Roger. Ed leaves behind daughters Gloria Jameson, Margie Griffith, Jacki Orford, and son Edward Bineau Jr., and son in law, Michael Griffith; grandchildren Ashley Jameson, Eric Jameson, Michelle Powers, Nichole Davila, April Pomeroy, and Chris Griffith; great grandchildren Elias Rivera, Brandon Baker, Logan Powers, Nataliza Davila, Amara Lee, Sadie Shoffner, Jack Shoffner, Elliott Jameson, Coralai O’Dougherty, Charlee O’Dougherty, and Ravi O’Dougherty; and extended family and friends. A visitation will be held at 10 am with a funeral service at 11 am Saturday March 25, 2017 at Boza and Roel Funeral Home, 4730 N. Armenia Ave Tampa, FL.
