Eduardo F Diliberto's Obituary
“Eduardo F. Diliberto, aka “Eddie” of Tampa, FL, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital on January 20, 2022 and went to be with the Lord at 79 years of age. Eddie is survived by his loving wife, Gloria Diliberto of 58 years. He is lovingly remembered by his son, Edward Diliberto and wife Erin as well as his two grandsons - Joshua Diliberto and fiancé Madison & Anthony Diliberto and fiancé Melanie.
Eddie lived a wonderful life, married the love of his life Gloria “his little gold mine”, on Sept 8, 1963. Throughout the years, Eddie and his wife were well traveled and stayed busy working to build the life they wanted. He was passionate about the outdoors; he enjoyed hunting, fishing and scuba diving in his earlier years. He also loved shooting, shot competitively, was an NRA instructor and was a trainer at the Tampa Police pistol range. Eddie served in the US Army & National Guard, worked as a Sheriff along with other agencies and retired after 30+ years at Sears. Throughout all those years, he and his wife ran “Eddie’s Gun Shop” as he was passionate about firearms since he was a kid. He loved to be surrounded by his family and spend time with friends; every weekend going out to eat and just having coffee with someone to catch up. Eddie - “Abuelo” - will be greatly missed by many and remembered for the big smile he always had and his great sense of humor.
