She is survived by her daughters; Darlene Frisco, Marlene Capdevila, Lurlene Jones (Rick) and grandsons Francisco Capdevila (Jamie) and Jorge Capdevila. Dora was born in Ybor City. She spent many years working in Ybor and West Tampa cigar factories. Enjoying life with her husband, they frequented dances at the Sons of Italy Hall and many functions in the historic buildings of Ybor City. They loved to dance and were the envy of many when they did. Dora was a member of La Nuova Sicilia Unita Lodge # 1251 for many years. Every Monday you could find Dora at Ely’s Beauty Salon, 9 a.m. to get her hair done. She wanted to look pretty for her night out at the Sons of Italy Lodge Bingo with her friends and family. For many years, while her health allowed, she would bake and donate her delicious cakes to the bingo kitchen. She was also a longtime member of American Legion Post 248 and participated in many functions . In retirement she joined her husband working at the St. Pete Dog Track for several years. She enjoyed bowling, flower arranging, and cruises, but her family brought her the most joy and happiness. We will all miss her.
