Donald M. Nash's Obituary
Nash, Donald M., of Tampa passed away November 7, 2018. He was a native of and life long resident of Tampa. Born April 7, 1919 He graduated from Hillsborough High School in 1937. He worked for the Western Union in the operating Department until 1941. He then entered his railroad career of 40 years. Starting as information clerk with the Tampa Union Station. He worked his way up as Ticket Clerk, Ticket Agent, Station Supervisor, retiring in 1981 as District Manager for Amtrak. Mr. Nash was a veteran of World War II serving in China, Burma and India (CBI Theater) from 1942 until 1945 in the Army Air Force. He was discharged as a 1st Sargent. He was an avid golfer, loved to fish, dance and loved tp work in his yard. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Mary Middlebrook Nash. Mr. Nash will lie in repose Friday November 16, 2018 from 10 to 11 Am at Boza and Roel Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow in Florida National Cemetery at 2PM.
