Delia Noguez Lopez's Obituary
Delia Noguez Lopez, 90, of 2714 W. Lemon Street, died Tuesday, January 17, 2023. Delia had been surrounded by her loving family for several days when she passed at Cameron Assisted Living Facility under Hospice Care. She has finally found peace and is at rest.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Mass for Delia, which will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on April 15, 2023, beginning at 2 p.m. Family and friends will gather after to celebrate her life at the family home of Raymond and Tina Lopez, 4311 W. Neptune Street, Tampa, Florida 33629.
Delia Lopez was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Lopez Sr., her youngest daughter, Regina Coffaro, her father, Anselmo Noguez Sr., her mother, Ana Lina Noguez, her older brother, Anselmo Noguez Jr., and her twin brother, Onelio Noguez.
She is survived by her oldest daughter, Janice LaTorre and her son, Raymond Lopez Jr., nine grandchildren, Julio LaTorre, Taryn Kendig, Antonio Lopez, Justin LaTorre, Christina Lopez, Rena Coffaro, Kimberly Salerno, Gina Rae Coffaro and Jacob Lopez, and five great-grandchildren, Alexie LaTorre, Julian LaTorre, Zachary Kendig, Aiden Pontenberg, and Mila Baker.
Delia Noguez was a fraternal twin born on September 20, 1932 to Anselmo Noguez, Sr. and Ana Lina Noguez in Tampa, Florida. Delia graduated from Jefferson High School in 1950. She was married to her high school sweetheart, Raymond Lopez Sr. for 39 years. She suffered heartache and tragedy in her life but her smile and laughter remained contagious and her family always brought her much happiness.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Affectionately known by all as “Dee” and by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as, “Abuela Dee”. She had many close and endearing relationships with extended family members and friends. Dee was a devout Catholic, loved arts and crafts, dancing and reading.
Dee’s extended family and friends reached out to share the most touching memories of her at the time of her passing. Her immediate family is grateful to each and every one of them for the times they shared with her as they each brought her much joy!!
